Database Publishing

▶Rumors of print's demise have been greatly exaggerated, at least when it comes to database publishing. Numerous professional organizations, trade groups and other bodies find it useful (and profitable!) to produce printed membership directories and similar publications. The process of translating large databases into user-friendly, well-organized volumes requires specialized knowledge of the available tools, to complete the task within a finite time frame and while maintaining high standards of quality. Since 2011, I've worked closely with the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations to produce The Colorado Legal Directory, an 1100-page annual that is an essential resource for lawyers across the state.
