That the Patron Acura ARX-02a of Scott Sharp, David Brabham and Dario Franchitti took the start was something of a miracle. Sharp yard-saled the team's primary car in practice, so they had to airfreight a replacement chassis from California and build it up into a complete car in less than 24 hours.
