On Sept. 4, 1999, BMW North America displayed several of its historic sports racing cars at Colorado's Pikes Peak International Raceway, during a Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing event. This BMW 3.0 CSL was one of several campaigned by the factory in its all-out assault on IMSA Camel GT during 1975 and '76.
